NEW - CANopen in combination with Compacta

The Compacta products with the new CANopen interface become decentralized systems. The integrated absolute encoder has a resolution of 4096 pulses per revolution in combination with up to the maximum of 4096 revolutions. The required positions can be exactly achieved when using brake ramps.
The unit comes with an internal speed regulation and a further advantage is that the maximum torque is settable. Four PDO's allow the cyclic data exchange.

Award for "Best Supplier" of 3M ESPE

In a selection of more than 1000 competing companies Framo made the race in the supplier rating of 3M ESPE in 2009.   Framo developed a drive for 3M ESPE for a two-component-mixer. The mixer is distributed by the international market leader for dental technics. It charges and mixes two ductile, paste-like substances at the push of a button in the right ratio and in the requested amount. The challenge for Framo was, to design a drive for a successor that had to be less noisy and smaller, but with the double capacity in speed and torque of the antecessor – and this of course with no additional costs. The result went into series production in 2008 and has constantly been advanced since then.

New Sales Manager

Since January 2010 Mr Roland Scherzinger is responsible for the sales department Drive Technology. Roland Scherzinger (45) has more than 20 years experience with Sales, Marketing and Productmanagement in the field of automation technology. Part of his business will be the systematic expansion of national and international sales for Framo and its strategic orientation.   Framo Morat operates in two business segments: the Components part with the focal points Gear Technology and Worm Gear Sets, plus the Drive Technology with Standard- and Custom Drives. Roland Scherzinger emphasizes, that both parts (components and drives) complete each other. The Drive Technology benefits from the long standing Know-How plus most modern manufacturing technology. The Components Technology on the other hand is "supplier", that has to fulfill the high demands for quality of the customer and the own Drive Technology department. The responsibility for the sales of Components is still in the hands of Mr. Elvis Beric, who successfully manages this department since two years.

New Corporate Design

On Tuesday, November 24.th 2009 was the release of our new appearance. As you can see on the right, not only the colors have changed - in fact we focussed our strategic direction: Drive- and Gear Technology are the two segments for our long term success.

Foundation of Framo B.V. in Moordrecht, Netherlands

In July 2009, as part of the successful internationalization, Framo strengthens the presence in the Benelux market by founding the subsidiary Framo Morat BV in the Netherlands.
