Custom Worm Gear Sets

We make a variety of customized worm gear sets from a range of different materials. Framo custom gear sets are available with center distances from 17 to 125 mm and with worm wheel diameters up to 200 mm.
On request Framo will calculate the gearing data, determine which materials and surface treatments are best suited to the application in question and provide advice on lubricants and torque capacity. To do this we use calculation software meeting the latest DIN standards.
Our 40 years of experience in the manufacture of worm gear sets has shown that our customers usually prefer us to use existing gear cutting tools, particularly when they need a small number of gear sets in a short time.
